The Development of Non-Fiction Text Books for Class XI Vocational High Schools Based on the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition Learning Model

This study aimed to: (1) produce textbooks for reading comprehension of non-fiction texts class XI SMK based on the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition learning model, (2) describe results product validation model by experts teachers, (3) assessment textbook students. development research used ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), which consists five stages: analysis, design, development, (4) implementation, (5) evaluation. The needs analysis was carried out at three schools in city Yogyakarta, namely Negeri 4 6 Perkebunan MM 52 Yogyakarta. Product one expert lecturer teachers. trial conducted students data collection techniques questionnaires interviews. instrument a questionnaire, list interview questions, sheet, student response sheet. technique descriptive quantitative analysis. scale is Likert with 1-5. this produced form model. developed 2013 revised 2017 edition curriculum, procedure texts, explanatory lecture review texts. Textbook products were printed package books. Based teacher validation, declared feasible to be as teaching material read classroom. gave score 4.06 "good" category, while 4.35 "very good" category. responses, book received 4.04
